## Pro bono legal services for free and open source software projects

**What you get.** Pro bono legal counsel for FOSS projects: licensing advice and license implementation, trademark registration and defense, nonprofit governance, patent questions, and community education. SFLC also gives licensing assistance to FOSS developers who are not clients.

**Who qualifies.** Applies to the project. Free, libre and open source software projects and their developers. SFLC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and takes on clients at its discretion.
